Millennium Family Fitness - "Whatever Moves You"

Project Overview

Millennium Family Fitness partnered with Shadow + Light Creative to create a collection of videos showcasing the club's facilities, programs, and family-friendly atmosphere. The project included a promotional video, four television commercials, and five program videos designed to highlight the many ways members can stay active. Working alongside Derek Hammeke of Flying Treasure Films and Mark Neuenschwander of 9Art Photography, we developed a visual approach that captures the energy of the club while giving special attention to its tennis facilities and programs.

Cinematography & Techniques

Filming took place over two 12-hour days in the heat of July, requiring careful planning and an efficient production workflow. We used extensive gimbal work to create smooth, dynamic camera movement throughout the facility, capturing the action and energy of the club. Fast-paced editing brings that footage together to create an engaging viewing experience, while the variety of shots showcases Millennium's amenities without losing sight of the people who bring the space to life.

Visual Storytelling

The goal was to show potential members what makes Millennium Family Fitness more than a place to work out. The videos highlight the club's wide range of amenities and activities, from tennis and fitness training to aquatics, pickleball, and family recreation. Tennis received particular emphasis, helping showcase one of the club's defining offerings. Across the promotional video, television spots, and program videos, we focused on the experience of being at Millennium: staying active, trying something new, and finding activities the whole family can enjoy.

The Final Result

The finished collection gives Millennium Family Fitness a versatile set of marketing assets for promoting the club, its programs, and its facilities across multiple platforms. Shadow + Light Creative collaborated with Derek Hammeke of Flying Treasure Films on video production and Mark Neuenschwander of 9Art Photography on photography, bringing together complementary creative skills to deliver a cohesive visual package. The result reflects our approach to commercial video production: intentional camera work, energetic editing, and purposeful storytelling that helps businesses showcase what makes them distinct and connect with the audiences they want to reach.
